My second non-fiction book Snouts in the Trough is based on newspaper work I did at the Sunday Tribune between 2009 and 2010. This reporting culminated in the resignation of the Ceann Comhairle (Speaker) of the Irish parliament, the Dáil.
The book was based on thousands of pages of records that had never been reported on before, as well as covering in depth the expenses controversy that dominated politics in Ireland in 2009.
